Overview and metadata sections
Two pages of notes in Italian addressed to Riccio from an appraiser identifying the origin of some ancient coins and analyzing the inscriptions and iconography represented. The author identifies coins from Abruzzi and Naples during its Greek occupation. The second page includes a sketch of a statueof the Goddess of Strength found in Capua and attributed to the Etruscans. The manuscript was found in a book written by Riccio entitled, Le monete delle antiche famiglie di Roma fino allo imperadore Augusto, published in 1843.
