The collections contains Board of Directors records, reports, financial records, correspondence, and other records related to the Legal Aid Society, as well as annual reports of and correspondence with legal aid organizations from elsewhere in the country.

Accession 253 was donated by the Legal Aid Society in March 1976. Accession 259 was donated by the Legal Aid Society in May 1976. Accession 282 was donated by the Legal Aid Society in November 1976.
