Overlook Elementary School is one of seven elementary schools in Abington School District, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Overlook School, originally constructed in 1926, was rebuilt in 2005.
This collection was compiled by Theresa Hanlon, formerly a sixth grade teacher at Overlook Elementary School.

The majority of the collection is mock-ups for Overlook School yearbooks, circa 1994-2007. There are also recordings on DVD, videocassette, and VHS of school performances and graduations; and photographs, slides, and CDs of class photos, graduation photos, and photographs of school events. Most of the materials in this collection date from 1994-2007, with some slides dating from 1961-1994.

Summary descriptive information on this collection was compiled in 2011-2012 as part of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania’s Hidden Collections Initiative for Pennsylvania Small Archival Repositories (HCI-PSAR), using data provided by the Old York Road Historical Society. The HCI-PSAR project was funded by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
This is a preliminary finding aid. No physical processing, rehousing, reorganizing, or folder listing was done in the HCI-PSAR project.
