The vast majority of this collection is made up of scrapbooks, circa 1955-1970. Some were assembled by the Glenside-Weldon Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and some appear to have been created by students. Most scrapbooks include class and club membership lists, programs and flyers, newspaper clippings, and photographs.

The collection also includes files from the PTA, circa 1980s-2000. Some files are subject-based, on topics like anti-bullying, or relate to particular programs run by the PTA. There are files with meeting minutes and other administrative documents, as well as a large quantity of financial records. The financial records include treasurer's reports, bank statements, deposit receipts, returned checks, tax returns, receipts and invoices, and a financial ledger with membership deposits.

A few three dimensional objects are in this collection, such as t-shirts, a water bottle, and several awards and plaques. The school newspaper Glenside Weldon Happenings, 1948-1963, and numerous articles about the school or the PTA clipped from local newspapers round out the collection.

Gift of Glenside Weldon Elementary and Junior High School, 2001.
