Overview and metadata sections

Child Care of Montgomery County (CCMC) began as a study group of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and became a non-profit organization providing pre-and after-school care for children of working parents. It was incorporated on July 25, 1977, and began as a pilot program from September 1977 to June 1978 at North Willow Grove School in Upper Moreland Township. Within a decade, CCMC was running after-school programs at six elementary schools. CCMC folded in 2000.
