Margaret Halsey (1913-1984) wrote for the Germantown Courier about local history and architecture.
This collection consists of newspaper clippings, press releases, pamphlets, reports, and event invitations. Most of the materials are arranged into subject files on Germantown families and estates, history, and Germantown renewal. There are also some miscellaneous pamphlets, articles, and reports relating to antiques, Germantown history, and the Amish, 1917-1980s; and Germantown traffic and parking reports, circa 1955-1965.
