The Third National Exposition of Chemical Industries Commemorative Stamp includes one stamp celebrating the chemical industries event. The stamp includes text in English that reads, "Third Exposition Chemical Industries, Week of Sept 24 1917, Grand Central Palace New York," as well as a color illustration of a chemist at work in a lab in front of a window looking out at an urban landscape. Also attached is an envelope with information detailing where the stamp was derived from.
The Third National Exposition of Chemical Industries Commemorative Stamp was donated to the Science History Institute (formerly the Chemical Heritage Foundation) by S.W. Waisbrot in August 1996.
