Overview and metadata sections

The Israel Chemical Society Stamps and Postal Covers Collection includes a series of commemorative folios with text in English and Hebrew containing stamps and postal covers commemorating Israeli Nobel Prize winners created by the Israel Postal Company (Rashut ha-doʼar) and the Israel Chemical Society (Ḥevrah ha-Yiśreʾelit le-khimyah). The folios included are as follows: an International Year of Chemistry folio from 2011, an International Year of Crystallography folio from 2014, and an International Year of Light folio from 2015.

The Israel Chemical Society Stamps and Postal Covers Collection was donated to the Science History Institute by Ehud Keinan in October 2022.
