N. V. Polak & Schwarz's Flavor Factories was a Dutch company founded in 1889. In 1958 it merged with Van Ameringen-Haebler, Incorporated to form Flavors & Flavors Incorporated (IFF).

Booklets for N.V. Polak & Schwarz's Flavor Factories and a program from the "25 Year Club" Dinner for International Flavors & Fragrances Incorporated. One booklet, titled "N.V. Polak & Schwarz's Essencefabrieken" has comments written in Dutch and French and is signed by N. van Der Beek. On page 28 there is an original letter in French dated May 25, 1935 on letterhead of Polak & Schwarz, addressed to Mr. van Der Beek dealing with prices of various flavors.

The N. V. Polak & Schwarz's Flavor Factories Materials were donated to the Science History Institute (formerly the Chemical Heritage Foundation) by Alfred Goossens in February 2017.
