New England Nuclear was founded in 1956 by Edward Shapiro and Seymour Rothchild to provide radiopharmaceuticals for the new but rapidly expanding field of nuclear medicine. Paul A. McNulty, hired in 1960, was the company's 24th employee. He had previously been employed by Tracerlab Keleket, Waltham Massachusetts. McNulty left New England Nuclear in 1984.
The financial binder gives a good overview of NEN from its fourth year of operation until 1984, the year that the donor, Paul A. McNulty, left the company's employ.
