Biography/History
Stroudsburg Monthly Meeting was established in 1815 out of Richland Monthly Meeting by Abington Quarterly Meeting. The Orthodox monthly meeting was discontinued in 1839; its members were transferred to Abington Monthly Meeting. The Hicksite monthly meeting was discontinued in 1827; its members were transferred to Richland Monthly Meeting.
