This is a finding aid. It is a description of archival material held at the Quaker Meeting Records at Haverford College Quaker & Special Collections and Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College. Overview and metadata sections

An indulged meeting at Whiteland was established by Goshen Monthly Meeting in 1816. A preparative meeting was established in 1882. After the Separation, there were two Whiteland Preparative Meetings. Whiteland Preparative Meeting (Othodox) was discontinued after 1918. The Hicksite Preparative Meeting was discontinued in 1843, and its members were attached to Goshen Preparative Meeting. The Meeting for Worship was discontinued in 1847.

Records include: Orthodox meeting minutes, 1822-1853 and 1858-1902; records of the building of the Whiteland Meetinghouse in 1879
