Overview and metadata sections

Newtown Monthly Meeting was established in 1926 by Bucks Quarterly Meeting (Hicksite) out of Makefield Monthly Meeting. Newtown became a united meeting by its affiliation with Burlington and Bucks Quarterly Meeting (Orthodox) in 1946. This is currently an active monthly meeting.

Records include: Hicksite and United minutes since 1926; Hicksite and United vital records, 1924-1973; minutes and other papers of the Meeting on Worship and Ministry, 1926-1966; newsletter; miscellaneous papers, etc.
