A meeting for worship at Tuckerton was established by 1709 under Chesterfield Monthly Meeting. In 1714, Little Egg Harbor Preparative Meeting was established. The meeting for worship and preparative meeting were transferred to Little Egg Harbor Monthly Meeting in 1715.
There appears to have been no Hicksite meeting. Little Egg Harbor Preparative Meeting (Orthodox) was discontinued in 1901; its members were transferred to Burlington Monthly Meeting. An indulged meeting during the summer months was settled at Tuckerton by Burlington Monthly Meeting in 1901. In 1986, this meeting became part of the new Little Egg Harbor Monthly Meeting.

Collection Inventory
Official records of proceedings kept for all Quaker business meetings. Only Quakers could participate. It has responsibility for care of members, authorizes removals and marriages, maintains discipline, considers the queries, manages meeting property, fosters social concerns, and reports regularly to the quarterly meeting. Beginning at the end of the 19th century, men and women ceased to hold separate business meetings, meeting instead in joint session.
