Overview and metadata sections
Stanford Preparative Meeting was established in 1795 under Creek Monthly Meeting and became part of Stanford Monthly Meeting when that meeting was set off in 1803. In 1828 it divided into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. The Hicksite branch was laid down with the Monthly Meeting in 1871, and the members attached to Creek Monthly Meeting.
