Records of Oblong Preparative Meeting (Orthodox & pre-Separation), 1800-1887. Includes men's minutes, 1854-1887 and women's minutes, 1800-1886.

Oblong Preparative Meeting was established by Purchase Monthly Meeting in 1742. It was put under Oblong Monthly Meeting on its establishment in 1744. The meeting split into Orthodox and Hicksite branches in 1828. The Orthodox branch continued until it was laid down in 1887.

Records of Oblong Preparative Meeting (Orthodox & pre-Separation), 1800-1887. Includes men's minutes, 1854-1887 and women's minutes, 1800-1886.

Divided into series: Men's minutes: 1.1 1854-1887; Women's minutes: 2.1 1800-1805, 2.2 1828-1835, 2.3 1836-1842, 2.4 1858-1883, 2.5 1883-1886.

Transferred from Haviland Records Room by NYYM in 1997.
