Galway Preparative Meeting was established in 1797, set off from Saratoga Preparative Meeting and as a part of Saratoga Monthly Meeting. It became a part of Galway Monthly on its establishment in 1802. The last record of this meeting is from 1861; Galway Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) and all of its subordinates were officially laid down in 1865.
