Abstract:
This project, under the direction of Buckminster Fuller (World Fellow in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania at that time) was comprised of leading scholars debating issues related to human aggression and global conflict, in 1973 and 1974.

This project, under the direction of Buckminster Fuller (World Fellow in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania at that time) was comprised of four components: world forums of leading scholars debating issues related to human aggression and global conflict; the War or Peace Theme Gallery at the University Museum; education through interdisciplinary courses and film festivals, workshops, etc.; and a television/film presentation of Fuller's film on the theme that peace through technology is possible. It was part of a three-year program which the University of Pennsylvania sponsored as part of the Philadelphia Bicentennial celebration.
