Overview and metadata sections
Medical Aid For Indochina (MAI) was formed in 1971 "organized around the fundamental principle that the people of Indochina are not the enemies of the American people." Headquartered first in Newton, Massachusetts, then in Cambridge, Massachusetts, MAI collected funds to buy drugs, medical equipment, and medical literature for the people of Indochina who had been devastated as a result of the Vietnam War.
Collection consists of printed materials, primarily MAI leaflets, and a copy of the [fundraising?] booklet "Ya Trang and the Magic Pearl," a Vietnamese folk tale.
