John J. Logue (1923-2004); professor emeritus of political science at Villanova University (Villanova, Pennsylvania) who championed the cause of global government and published extensively on United Nations reform, international relations, and the law of the sea; received a bachelor's degree from Yale University, master's degrees from Yale and the University of Pennsylvania, and a doctorate in political science from the University of Chicago; active in Delaware County and Pennsylvania state politics; founder and director of Villanova's Common Heritage Institute (earlier called the World Order Research Institute); senior vice-president of the World Federalist Association (earlier called the United World Federalists).
