Dick Kazmaier was a Princeton University student and football player from 1948 to 1952. Born Richard Kazmaier Jr. on November 23, 1930 in Maumee, Ohio, he attended Princeton University from 1948 to 1952, playing football all four years. He was part of the undefeated teams of 1950 and 1951, and in 1951 won the Heisman Trophy. Though he was recruited by the NFL, Kazmaier did not play football after his undergraduate years.
