Overview and metadata sections
The International Center at Princeton was founded in 1974 by a volunteer cohort of faculty, alumni, and community residents to welcome new international graduate students and visiting scholars to the University community. In 1978, President Bowen incorporated the Center into the University as part of the Office of Undergraduate Student Life. The Center now offers multiple programs in conjunction with academic offices and student, alumni and community organizations to foster understanding of diverse cultures among Princetonians. In 2007, the Center was named the Kathryn W. and Shelby Cullom Davis '30 International Center.
The collection documents the Center's programs and events, as well as international student associations and alumni groups. Types of documents include reports, correspondence, publicity materials, and meeting minutes.
Transferred to the University Archives in November 2008 [AR.2008.150].
