Overview and metadata sections
This caricature was created by Maxfield Parrish at a Haverford College reunion in 1891. Parrish left Haverford after his junior year (he entered in 1888). Burr was a member of the Class of 1889.
Caricature entitled "Nutty" by Maxfield Parrish (ex-Haverford College Class of 1892), likely of Charles Henry Burr, Jr. (Haverford College Class of 1889). The artpiece is a drawing of a suit-clad man standing atop a pedastal that says "NUTTY." The man's head is some sort of circular object with a large eyeball in the middle. No other facial features are present. On top of his head sits a bowler hat.
Gift of Franklin B. Kirkbride, 1955.
