Abstract:
The Comet was a student literary publication containing essays, short stories and poems.

The Comet was a student literary publication containing essays, short stories and poems. Several of the issues note that it was published by individuals with the initials "J.D.F.", "C.W.F." and "S.G.H." It is probable that these were Haverford students Joseph D. Folwell, Charles William Fisher and Stephen Grellet Hinsdale.

The collection contains four issues of the magazine from 1835 and 1836.

The materials are arranged chronologically.
