Overview and metadata sections

The first issue of Counterpoint was issued in fall 1948 after a year of planning. Its goal was to be "a magazine representative of the best createive work of both campuses." Each issue had editors and staff from both campuses. The pulication appears to end with the spring 1951 issue.

Counterpoint included both prose and poetry; beginning with the summer 1949 issue, art and photography were also included. Although the majority of the contributions came from students, most issues featured a few contributions from faculty or those outside the colleges. Two copies of each issue; one set bound, one loose.
