This collection is comprised of three anonymous photograph albums: The Goodwill Train photograph album, the Lingnan University photograph album, and the Views of Friends' Mission, Tokyo, Japan photograph album. The Goodwill Train album records the arrival of a "Goodwill Train" arriving in Dusseldorf, Germany, in 1948. The Lingnan University album includes photographs of Lingnan University students, doctors, the hospital floor plan, and Hong Kong, with captions in Chinese. The Friends' Mission, Tokyo album includes photographs of the Friends' Girls' school in Tokyo.

Scope and Content note

This volume is composed of photographs from the Friends' Mission in Tokyo, Japan. Included are photographs of the Friends' Girls' school, teacher's residences, teachers and students, views of Tokyo, classes of Sunday school children, and classes of calisthenics, flower arrangement, Koto (traditional Japanese instrument). One photograph of white missionaries is labeled with the folowing names: G. Bowles, A.G. Lewis, I.E. Taber, William T. Ellis, and S. Ellis.
