Frances Chamberlain Sheridan was a Irish author and playwright as well as the mother of Richard Brinsley Sheridan. She was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1724. Sheridan married Thomas Seridan in 1747.

Typed copy of the unproduced play, with an introductory note. Original (ca. 1765) in British Museum. Included is an article by William Rush Dunton, Jr. about the document entitled "A little case of borrowing," which was originally published in Contributer's Club of "Atlantic Monthly," Jan. 1891. Letter from William Rush Dunton, Jr. tipped in at front of item.
