Kenneth Ives (1916-2002) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Earlham College in 1938 and from Wayne State University in 1957. During that same year, he married Renee R. Wagshal. He worked as a psychiatric social worker and instructor. He was an active member of the Lake Erie Association Quaker community and Quaker Sociologists Meeting. Ives died in Chicago in 2002.
