The T. Wistar Brown Teachers Fund was established following the death of Thomas Wistar Brown in 1916. The Fund provides financial grants supporting Quakers over the age of 21 who request assistance for professional development in preparing themselves to teach at the primary or secondary school level, and those who seek to improve their skills with a graduate degree.
This collection includes documents and publications relating to the T. Wistar Brown Teachers Fund, including the minutes, publications, and financial documents of the fund, correspondence from fund administrators and recipients, and records of applications to the fund.
