Overview and metadata sections
Friends Academy of Westampton was founded as a private Quaker school in 1983 in Westampton, New Jersey. Formerly incorporated as Rancocas Friends School, Friends Academy of Westampton served approximately 185 students in pre-school through 8th grade classrooms. Until 2004, the school was housed in a wing of a local Methodist church. In 2004, construction was completed on a 15 acre campus with three buildings and a separate gymnasium. The school announced its closure in 2016, citing low enrollment numbers.
This collection contains the administrative minutes and records, financial records, publications, and media of Friends Academy of Westampton, formerly Rancocas Friends School, spanning the years 1984-2016.
This collection is arranged in three series, Administrative Documents, Financial Documents, and Media.
