Susan Morton Tatum was the daughter of Harold Tatum and Hanna Lewis Tatum. She married Albert Johnston Wallace Jr. in 1940 in Media, Pennsylvania.
Sarah Mickle Tatum (1817-1896) an elder of Woodbury Monthly Meeting in New Jersey, was married to William R. Tatum. She was a student at Westtown Boarding School in Westtown, Pennsylvania.
John Mickle Whitall (1800-1877), the son of Captain John Whitall and Sarah Mickle, married Mary Tatum Whitall. With her he had four children: Hannah T. Whitall (1832-1911), Sarah Whitall (1833-1880), James Whitall (1834-1896), and Mary Whitall (1836-1888).

This collection contains correspondence, genealogical information, portraits, and other objects relating to the Tatum, Mickle, Whitall, Wright, and Lewis families. The materials are mostly from the 19th century.

There are about forty letters between female relatives, including Martha Mickle, Sally, Elizabeth, Patty, and Ann Carpenter.

A 6.5 inch tall doll attached to a metal stand with a wooden base and glass cover. The doll is wearing a grey shawl and dress, appearing in the style of early Quakers.

Note accompanying this box reads, "This box was given to me by Elizabeth Pearson. It was made from a piece of the elm tree we have heard of spoke in connection with William Penn. - B. Alinson given by B.A. to S. M. Tatum 1845", this likely refers to the Penn Treaty Elm.

A note attached to this object reads, "Sarah Mickle Sampler" and there is an envelope attached to the back with a family tree and sarah's name highlighted.
Large piece of tan fabric with small embroidery mark in one corner.
Written on illustration: "Monday Staff Meeting Sept. 25, 1961 which was marked in Hannah Bunting's honor. Colin W. Bell on the right introduces Olcutt Sanders who stands in the middle. (Hannah is on facing bench between the two men)" Written on note on the back: "Hannah: In staff meetings I sketch (-RELIEVES THE BOREDOM-) and I thought afterwards that you might like this 'snapshot' of an event - a particular oe in your life, - ours too! As you see I have had to label some of the participants - (but y'know, this has to be alone with UNERRING photographs too, lest they be forgotten.) BLESS THEE HANNAH! - Carl."
Contains two brown baskets. One has the words "D. Mickle" written in black ink and engraved on its handles.
