Abstract:
Primarily commonplace books of Susan H. Loyd (1802?-1857), there is also a diary of Loyd's (1818-1828) and a book of financial receipts for William Brown, 1795-1818, as well as two commonplace books kept by Sarah Loyd.

Susan H. Loyd was a Quaker and member of Philadelphia Monthly Meeting for the Western District. She died in 1857 "in the 56th year of her age," according to an obituary notice in Friends Review, v. 10, p. 569, 1857.
