Dr. Joseph R. DiPalma [1916- 2011] was a pharmacologist and dean of Hahnemann Medical College. After receiving a medical degree from the Long Island University School of Medicine, he came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1950, and was appointed Chair of the Pharmacology Department at Hahnemann Medical College in 1951. He served in this position until 1968 when he became Dean of Hahnemann Medical College and Vice President of Academic Affairs. He stepped down to become Associate Dean for Continuing Education in 1982, and officially retired in 1986. Contains research notes and first full length paper, 1939.
