W. Hans Moennig (1903-1988) was a world-renowed woodwind master craftsman and repairer based at 15 S. 21st St. in Philadelphia from 1926-1983. His cousin William Moennig's violin repair shop still exists today on Locust Street.
Complete flutes, clarinets, and incomplete parts of each, all in wood, from the workshop of Hans Moennig. Includes: piccolo by Thiebouville, Paris; fife by Klemm & Bro., Philadelphia; 12-key flute by G.H. Hüller, Germany; incomplete flute by Rudall, Carte & Co., Ltd., London; flute by Hawes, London; flute by unknown maker; clarinet by Charles Bertin, Paris; clarinet by G.A.
