Receipt book documenting the expenses of John Falck, primarily room and board expenses, account payments, intrest payments, and whiskey purchases. Receipts dated and signed by persons receiving payment. Contains several loose notes verifying that his ward, Emma C. Shaeffer, attended school, dated 1859. Front inside cover labeled "John Falcks Williamstown." Compiled in Williamstown and Lancaster counties, Pennsylvania.

Contains lists of contents for 13 chops loaded on the vessel Commerce between 18 May and 14 Sept 1838; lists of contents for 19 chops loaded on the vessel Levant between 23 Nov 1839 and 10 Jan 1840; lists of goods sent to various other vessels, including the Lehigh, John N. Gossler, Venice, and Adelaide during 1840. Pages of seconf half of book have been removed.

Inside cover labeled "Joshua Spooner, Blotter Memorandum, Endorsements, etc., etc., commencing July 1st 1852." Book contains pressed leaves.
