The Josephine (Schnurman) Case scrapbook is comprised of a two-volume scrapbook created by Josephine Case, class of 1954. The scrapbooks, which cover 1950-1954, contains mostly materials about theatrical and musical performances at Bryn Mawr College and beyond. There is also a great amount of personal correspondence and cards, as well as some casual photographs in good condition. The collection is comprised of a two-volume scrapbook. The first volume highlights material from 1950-52, while the second volume is composed of material from 1952-54. Highlights of the first volume include photos of the class of '52's play "As you Swipe It"; handwritten plans for set and stage management of 1951 Arts Night, with program; 3 photos of a Bi-Co production of Othello, several photos from "The Shoemaker's Prodigious wife", with program; playbill from the Cort Theater: Katherine Hepburn in "As You Like It"; quiz (with corrected answers) on the rules and regulations of dorm and social life; and Case's sign-out sheet from Rockefeller. The second volume highlights include 3 photos from '54's "Opening Soon" with program; 2 photos from "The Boy with a Cart"; and 2 photos from '57's "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness"; playbills from New York City theaters 1952-54, playbills from BMC Class Plays, BMC/Haverford College Drama performances, and BMC/HC musical performances, 1952-54. This scrapbook is primarily a record of Case's involvement (generally as a stage manager) with both Bryn Mawr and bi-college theatrical productions and of her interest in the theater in general. Case's scrapbook does not provide a feeling for the typical BMC experience in the early 1950s, but it does provide a rather interesting record of a personality and of one kind of extracurricular life.

Some other items of interest are two notes from M. Carey Thomas to Dabney in her capacity as SGA President, some class songs and cheers, a pamphlet about the decision to hold May Day 1900, speeches made by Dabney for SGA, and a copy of the Honor Code. Dabney majored in History and served as SGA President from 1902-03. The scrapbook is particularly notable for the large number of photographs included, which appear to have been taken by Dabney herself, and the sheer volume of memorabilia. It would be of use to anyone interested in early Bryn Mawr history, SGA history, and photographs of Bryn Mawr.

The Eva Levin Milbouer photo album contains the scrapbook pages of Eva Milbouer, Bryn Mawr college class of 1933 and daughter of Bertha Szold, Bryn Mawr 1895. The album is from circa 1929-1933, and is largely student photographs. It provides insight into the student life on Bryn Mawr's campus in the early 30s.
The photo album is comprised of 10 loose double-sided pages. It largely contains student photographs, showing student athletics, academics, and scenes from the Freshman Show. About half of the scrapbook is dedicated to photographs from May Day 1932. Additionally, there are some caricatures of professors. Every photograph has been labelled.
This photo album provides a mixture of candids and posed pictures. It would be most helpful for those interested in May Day, and the theater tradition at Bryn Mawr. Materials related to Milbouer's classes, included exams, class notes, and notebooks, are also kept in the College Archives in a separate collection.

The Marie Leyendecker Cashel scrapbook houses the one volume scrapbook of Marie Leyendecker, Bryn Mawr class of 1944. The scrapbook roughly covers the years 1937 to 1944. It contains a great deal of material detailing the social life of an active high school and college age young woman—dances, teas, parties, theater, restaurants, outings in Pennsylvania, and NYC.
The scrapbook consists of one volume. Much of the material dates from Leyendecker's high school years at Pelham Manor, NY, during the late 1930s. There is also some material relating to WWII: a "War Map of the World," campus reaction to Pearl Harbor and particular movements of marine units. Related specifically to Bryn Mawr, there is a letter from the College regarding Leyendecker's acceptance (as well as one from Smith); poems re: life at Bryn Mawr; course cards (1940-42); playbills; dance cards; "Order of Procedure for Freshmen, 1940-41;" SGA booklet (1940-41); BMC handbook (1940-41); Freshman Show flower cards, booklet from the inauguration of K. McBride as President (1942), and "Wilkie for President" group on campus. Of special interest, perhaps, is an autographed photo of Guy Lombardo; a playbill from "International Casino" autographed by Milton Berle; and a variety of political pins.
The scrapbook contains some of the typical Bryn Mawr memorabilia, but also contains a great deal of material that is not found in other scrapbooks. It would be of use to a study of how WWI affected college campuses. However, the scrapbook is too fragile for use by researchers or for exhibition. Some of the items in the scrapbook may be of interest for exhibition, and could be removed.

A collection of Maguire's papers and family correspondence is also housed in Bryn Mawr's collections.
A digitized version of a photo album of Maguire's can be found on Triptych.
The Elizabeth Yarnall Maguire scrapbook contains the one volume scrapbook of Elizabeth Maguire, Bryn Mawr class of 1913. The scrapbook consists of materials from 1908-1913 and mostly contains Bryn Mawr memorabilia. It offers a valuable view into the social life and traditions of Bryn Mawr students during the early 20th century.
The scrapbook consists of one volume, the materials within which have been organized by student year. The scrapbook contains notes from friends, small memorabilia from plays, dinner, and large campus events, and professional photographs. There are also clippings from the College News, including a few articles on the changing nature of Rush/Parade Night. The scrapbook has a comprehensive collection of mostly hand-drawn name/toast cards from student dinners. Though each entry often has detailed notes accompanying it, the handwriting can be difficult to read sometimes. The scrapbook also has a great deal of May Day material.
This scrapbook is well-organized and contains a representative assortment of Bryn Mawr memorabilia. This scrapbook sheds light on not only the standard social practices for young women of the day, but also the complex and mutable Bryn Mawr-specific events and traditions. For those interested in Elizabeth Maguire, a member of prominent Yarnall and Maguire families, Maguire's family papers are also housed in the Archives.

The Marion Parris Smith scrapbook houses the large one volume scrapbook of Marion Parris, who took both her A.B. and Ph.D. degrees from Bryn Mawr College, later becoming a Professor of Economics at the same institution. The scrapbook spans from 1897 to 1906 and gives an excellent overview of the undergraduate and post-graduate life of a Bryn Mawr student.
The scrapbook comprises one large volume. The first half consists of many programs, class supper memorabilia, and exams in various subjects. There are a great many drawn name cards and various clippings and memorabilia regarding Bryn Mawr. The second half mainly concerns Marion's alumnae activity, as well as some Bryn Mawr graduate student material. There are many letters to the Alumnae and much of M. Carey Thomas' correspondence with committees of the Alumnae Association. The material is largely regarding raising money and endowments for Bryn Mawr, and the Finance Committee that for which Parris served as chairman.
Though there is no one particularly notable feature of Parris' scrapbook, it provides a comprehensive and interesting record of the life of the college during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It would be a valuable resource for those interested in Bryn Mawr during this time period.

This is a small scrapbook consisting of mostly personal notes and programs for various plays and events, and is rather sparse. It contains copies of exams and a card from the Committee of the American Women's Scholarship for Japanese women and a few personal joke letters/items. The scrapbook is fragile but in overall good condition. There is a great deal more information on Susan Walker Fitzgerald in her papers, held by BMC Special Collections.
