The Alice Gore King scrapbook collection contains 25 Bryn Mawr-related scrapbooks created by Alice Gore King, Bryn Mawr class of 1937. The collection spans from 1929-1970, and highlights prominent Bryn Mawr figures, as well as faculty and alumnae.

The scrapbook is housed in three document boxes. Box 1 contains scrapbooks related to prominent Bryn Mawr figures, while Boxes 2 and 3 contains scrapbooks related to the faculty and alumnae of Bryn Mawr, organized alphabetically.

Box 1 contains two scrapbooks on Millicent Carey McIntosh, 1929-1970; four scrapbooks on Bryn Mawr College, 1933-1970; and one scrapbook on Katherine McBride, 1939-1970. Box 2 contains nine scrapbooks on the faculty and alumnae of BMC, A-M, 1931-1970. Box 3 contains nine scrapbooks on the faculty and alumnae of BMC, M-Z, 1931-1970. These scrapbooks include newspaper articles, magazine articles, photographs, and some letters.

King's scrapbooks are not standard for Bryn Mawr's scrapbook collection. In contrast with the usual volumes filled with Bryn Mawr memorabilia, King's scrapbooks are curated documents focused on one subject at a time. They would be a useful resource for those interested in a Millicent Carey McIntosh, Katherine McBride, faculty, and/or alumnae of Bryn Mawr.
