Overview and metadata sections

Eva Levin Milbouer was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Bertha Szold (BMC 1895). She was prepared by the Forest Park High School in Baltimore. She attended Bryn Mawr College from 1929-30, and 1931-34, where she majored in Biology. She was the Alumnae Regional Scholar from 1929-30 and 1931-32, and named the Elizabeth S. Shippen Scholar in Science from 1933-34.

The Eva Levin Milbouer photo album contains the scrapbook pages of Eva Milbouer, Bryn Mawr college class of 1933 and daughter of Bertha Szold, Bryn Mawr 1895. The album is from circa 1929-1933, and is largely student photographs. It provides insight into the student life on Bryn Mawr's campus in the early 30s.

The photo album is comprised of 10 loose double-sided pages. It largely contains student photographs, showing student athletics, academics, and scenes from the Freshman Show. About half of the scrapbook is dedicated to photographs from May Day 1932. Additionally, there are some caricatures of professors. Every photograph has been labelled.

This photo album provides a mixture of candids and posed pictures. It would be most helpful for those interested in May Day, and the theater tradition at Bryn Mawr. Materials related to Milbouer's classes, included exams, class notes, and notebooks, are also kept in the College Archives in a separate collection.
