The Ward G auxiliary was a group of women who met periodically to discuss the needs of children being treated in the children’s ward of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. These reports contain vivid narratives relating the circumstances of individual children and their families and the work of the department and its staff to provide social and nursing services to young patients in their homes.
