Newtown, the county seat of Bucks County from 1726 to 1813, is one of the most historic areas in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Newtown historic resource surveys, 1936-1998, consist of surveys of historic buildings and resources in Newtown Borough and Township carried out in 1936, 1980, 1984, and 1998.
