Named after an 18th century inn, today King of Prussia is largely known as home to office buildings and one of the largest shopping malls in America, the King of Prussia Mall. The King of Prussia Historical Society local history collection, circa 1960-2014 (bulk 1985-2014), consists of file cabinets of research materials and a digital collection of scanned items, most of which are photographs.

Abstract:: Estelle Cremers (1925-2010) was a historian in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, who served as the executrix for Grace Rodebaugh and her property, Welkinweir (East Nantmeal Township, Chester County, Pa.) The Estelle Cremers collection on Welkinweir, circa 1975-2001 (bulk 1990-2001), consists of various materials compiled by Estelle Cremers about Welkinweir and the Rodebaugh estate, especially regarding her duty as Grace Rodebaugh's executrix. It includes Grace's will, documents relating to Grace's finances, materials about the donation of Welkinweir to West Chester State College and resultant controversy, materials relating to establishing Welkinweir as an historic site, inventories and other papers relating to Welkinweir, and photographs and slides of the property.

The Main Line Country Houses Collection, circa 1900-2003, consists of over 800 photographs and fact sheets on over 150 properties. The materials were collected by William Alan Morrison for his 2002 book The Main Line: Country Houses of Philadelphia's Storied Suburb, 1870-1930.
