Abstract:: The Nether Providence Township Council of Republican Women, a local branch of the Pennsylvania Federation of Republican Women, was founded in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in 1963 and disbanded in 2005. The purposes of the organization were to promote the Republican Party and its candidates as well as to advance women in political knowledge and political activity. The bulk of the Nether Providence Council of Republican Women records, 1963-2005, is scrapbooks; also included are administrative and financial records, membership materials, event planning materials, newsletters, and framed certificates and awards.
