The collection also includes photographs, deeds, a Girls' Friendly Society scrapbook, and correspondence of Rev. Edward Platt (a past rector of St. James').

The congregation, still active as of 2012, traces its origins to early worship services conducted in 1700 by the Reverend Evan Evans.
