- Richard Bunker Singer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1939, served as a United States Navy flight surgeon in the Pacific Theater during World War II, and in 1952 accepted a position in life insurance underwriting at New England Mutual Life Insurance Company in Boston, MA. The Richard Bunker Singer Papers document the family life and professional career of Dr. Singer. The collection has been organized into six series: Correspondence, Personal, Professional, Works By, Photographs, and Awards.
