- Perkasie is located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania midway between Philadelphia and Allentown. The site of William Penn's 'Perkasie Manor,' the town was incorporated in 1879 and by the turn of the 20th century had become the third largest station on the North Penn railroad line. The Perkasie Historical Society photograph collection, circa 1880-2000, consists of various photographs of local people, events, buildings, organizations, and other subjects. Most of the photographs are original photographic prints; there are also some photocopies, glass plate negatives, slides, and oversized photographs.
