- Abstract:
- Joseph Edward Pavone (1928-2010) was an artist and prominent figure in the cultural and heritage community of Bristol, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Joseph Edward Pavone papers, 1927-2000 (bulk 1960-1995), contain clippings, slides, photographs, notes, drawings, organizational records, and other materials relating to Pavone's life and work. Photographs and slides documenting Pavone's artistic works, particularly the Christopher Columbus monument, form the largest portion of the collection. Of subsequent note are records and photographs pertaining to the founding of the Radcliffe Art Gallery and the Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation.
