Abstract:: Newtown, the county seat of Bucks County from 1726 to 1813, is one of the most historic areas in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Newtown Historic Association maps, blueprints, and plans collection, circa 1800-2007, consists of various maps, blueprints, and plans of Newtown (Bucks County, Pennsylvania) and surrounding areas, and includes originals as well as copies and reproductions.

Abstract:: The newspaper Bucks County Gazette began publication in 1948, became the New Hope Gazette in 1976, and still publishes articles as part of the Bucks Local News network (as of 2013). The "New Hope Gazette" photographs and subject files, circa 1960-1996, consist primarily of photographs from the files of the newspaper offices, depicting people in alphabetically-arranged files. There are also some subject files on events, artists, buildings, schools, and other topics, containing additional photographs as well as clippings, pamphlets and ephemera, and other miscellaneous documents.

Abstract:: New Hope in Bucks County, Pennsylvania is at the half-way point between Philadelphia and New York City along Old York Road. The borough was incorporated in 1837. The New Hope Historical Society local history collection, 1763-2013 (bulk 1970-2013), includes subject files with newspaper clippings and ephemera as well as scattered original documents and manuscripts. There are ten volumes of New Hope Borough tax records, circa 1860-1890.
