Abstract:

The collection consists of material compiled and used by Miss West and the History Committee for the writing of the History of Nursing in Pennsylvania. It contains a large amount of data about nurses' training and practice from hospitals all over the state. It also contains original documents of the Graduate Nurses' Association of the State of Pennsylvania in its formative years.
