Abstract:

Jacob (1867-1957) and Emily (1869-1954) Peat were Methodist missionaries who served in various locations in China and Sumatra from 1893 to about 1934. The Jacob and Emily Peat photographs, letters, and postcards, 1924-1944, consist of letters, two photograph albums, loose photographs and postcards from the Peats. The letters in the collection are addressed from the Peats to their son, Dr. Harry Gaskill Peat, in Ohio.
