- Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania became a boom town during the mid-19th century when a junction of the North Pennsylvania Railroad was established where the center of the town is now located. The Borough of Lansdale was incorporated on August 24, 1872. This collection, which documents the history of Lansdale, its organizations, and residents, consists of various scrapbooks, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, photograph albums, deeds, letters, primary source documents relating to particular organizations, and other miscellaneous materials.
